Tom Burnett was the man behind the rodeos in this area during his lifetime. An avid rodeo fan, Burnett had a hand in almost all the rodeos staged in and around Wichita Falls, Texas. This was the Tom Burnett Rodeo at Spudder Park in 1920. The band leading the opening parade in front of a packed grandstand. Included in the band were Leon Taylor, director; Stonecipher; George Taylor; Lester Rinefield; Barton Dunning and Ben Ammon.
